Aboriginal

• Employment Help Centre (St. Catharines):  Provides vocational counseling and group workshops to help people in their job search and career change. Testing and resume services are heavily utilized. Other services are an up-to-date display of current job openings based on newspaper ads, and a computerized HRDC Job Bank, as well as Internet Job Search.

• Learning Disabilities Association of Canada:   About the association's resources and activities.
• Niagara Employment Alliance:   The Niagara Employment Alliance works with employers to create opportunities for people with disabilities. We match qualified candidates with available positions, arrange for any assistive devices that may be required and ensure your eligibility for applicable wage, benefit or training subsidies.  All you need to do is to keep us posted about the opportunities available at your firm.
• Special Needs Education Network:  Provides information to parents, educators, schools and others involved in the education of students with special needs.
• The Canadian Abilities Foundation:  Provides information on a broad range of topics for the disabled.
• YMCA St. Catharines Employment Services: Connects Link Learning, Disability workshops with learning potentials.

• Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program:Seeks to introduce students to skilled trades while still in high school.
• YMCA of St. Catharines:The YMCA of St. Catharines offers the Federal Public Sector Youth Internship Program to provide Youth between the ages of 15-30 years with an opportunity for paid employment and training for one year.
• Catching the Wave:  This site is directed at YOUTH entrepreneurship. It provides various guidelines and suggestions on youth entrepreneurship as well as outlining procedures for starting your own business.
